No its not as you have no right to the DVD at that price or any of the other remedies.

Threads like this go against the bargain hunters. The first few would probably have got it and it would have been quietly fixed, unfortunately when thousands start buying many of them multiples it becomes impossible for this to happren.

I really wanted my Buffy dvd!

Is it worth phoning them as i havent had an email from them yet?

Just got off the phone with them and long story short im not getting it! ITs out of stock now, the money has been taking out of my account but apparently its only on hold with my bank and they will tell me bank not to send it to them. Very confusing!
I dont think a letter would work as she managed to answer back all of my clause 3.2 questions etc.

I'd already had CSI cancelled but now my other three different box sets have also been cancelled, no email, just checked my account update. This was to be expected, what I wasn't expecting was to still be billed on my credit account or two lots of delivery charges when I'm not even having anything delivered!!!!! I'm so going to have a go tomorrow when I phone them to cancel my account.

Got the cancellation email but noticed they have taken payment.

Another useless company that has helped itself to my money without providing the service, hate chasing up things like this especially during Christmas.

You've already recieved the DVDs. They're legally yours.
The contract has been formed and they CANNOT just take your money. At best, they can request it, but they can't legally do anything about it now.

Yeah a lot of people seemed to receive the 'Life' set and then get a cancellation email. There's nothing they can do about it though.
I'm still waiting on a follow up email to my complaint.
