I've got a pretty quick reply of:
"Thanks for your recent order for the Battlestar Glactica Series.
We try to make sure all our website prices are correct. Unfortunately however, mistakes do sometimes occur. Your order has been cancelled and your card will be refunded.
The correct price is £99.00.
Mistakes like this are most unusual and so I apologise for any disappointment this mistake may have caused you.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind Regards

So any thoughts on what to reply? I feel they have missed my point of 'your T&C's don't cover you on this one, gies it!' but how to put that more diplomatically..??0 -
I would like to thank you for your email dated ....... and your reply dated...... but unfortunately my question has not been answered. Your initial email asked me to draw my attention to clause ...... of your terms and conditions, which states; ...........................................
unfortunately this cannot be applied to my order as you will see from your records my order was accepted and therefore has to be processed by you. I look forward to hearing from you and in the meantime will be contacting Citizens Advice regarding my rights.

ok reply has gone out:
"I would like to thank you for your quick email reply but unfortunately my question has not been answered.
Your initial email asked me to draw my attention to clause 3.2 of your terms and conditions, which states; "3.2 Whilst it is our intention to keep our website up to date and error free, product description or pricing errors may occur. If we discover such an error after you have submitted an order to us, we will contact you prior to accepting your order with the correct details. You may then either cancel your order or re-confirm it based on the correct information. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat your order as cancelled."
Unfortunately this cannot be applied to my order as you will see from your records my order was accepted and therefore has to be processed by you.
I look forward to hearing from you and in the meantime will be contacting Citizens Advice regarding my rights.
Yours Sincerely"

Fantastic work, you guys!!
They can't get out of this one, it's impossible. Terms and conditions are made to profit, protect and make unfair loopholes for companies, in this case, it's landed them in a whole load of hot water!
Keep us all updated because I know the times coming where I'm going to have to write these emails myself!
Keep up the great work and keep quoting them on THEIR OWN terms and conditions.
I'm also going to read up on statutory rights and will post any advice I see.

My order says some have 'order accepted' and some 'out of stock' which is interesting as I can now find them on the site and they're clearly in stock at the new price.
Out of interest did other people who ordered different titles have as vague an email as me ie there was a pricing error but no comment of which item this regarded?
Thanks to everyone who's looking into this :T0
