Yeah, oddly nothing was mentioned about BBQs in the lease... but we're not allowed to keep caravans on site! It's nice that they felt that they had to clear that one up! We're also not supposed to alter the exterior walls at all... so our neighbour put up hanging baskets! Another neighbour likes to think that the parking garage is the perfect place for storage too... they have their Christmas decorations, garden table and chairs and some other bits and bobs lying around! We had someone leave a note in our postbox last year asking if we knew who'd stolen their laminate flooring that had been piled up in their parking space, I felt like replying that if you leave stuff in an open garage where there are 18 flats with 2 people in all of whom have about 5 regular guests... so that's roughly 180 people who know the access code to our gate...they're asking for their stuff to be nicked!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

Definitely Birdie, I wouldn't go leaving anything in there!
Thanks for that Wendz! I was just reasearching cars actually, trying to find out the difference between a Nissan Micra Tempest and Twister (anyone?) Anyone know if it's better to go for a slightly older car with fewer miles, or slightly newer with more? Augh!
Canal sounds good - are there ducks on it?!?!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
My dad always advises lower milage unless its a reps car (which a micra is unlikely to be, they tend to be vectras, astras, bm 3 series and the like). The passage of time isn't what puts wear on a car nowadays as they don't rust easily, but many miles wears the springs especially, but also is extra wear on your engine. Think of a cam belt. Most cam belts need replacing every 50,000-80,000 miles, time isn't a factor, and the same premise kind of applies to the rest of the car.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

We have a communal garden outside our flat and we've had BBQs outside, usually when everyone had their washing out on the lines that they weren't supposed to put up so their clothes got the stink on! Mwahahaha! Looking forward to doing it again this summer!
:rotfl::rotfl:Serves them right! I would be tempted to have a BBQ just to annoy them - am i bad person?Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Reps are salespeople, who get given mid range cars to drive around the country flogging dodgy hovers and the like!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Not too bad really. getting into bed in a bit. Sophie Dahl has just made me feel very inadequate in the kitchen, especially when it comes to Victoria Sponges! Anyone else see the Guinness cake on the One Show?

Doubt it at this rate! OH still wants to go back to Vegas in Sept, but i doubt it. Not until i get a job and get back on track with money. When i get back in a good financial state i want to buy new things for myselfBut maybe somewhere cheapy if we can fit it in.
I should moan, since 2008, i went to New York, Mexico, Paris, Cuba & Vegas and a weekend in Liverpool, so i havent done too badly! But will prob focus on cheapy days out instead with the way things are at the mo. Kills me to say it though!0
