At least the days go quick when it's busy though Wendz! When do you go to Egypt? I'm really worried about this effing ash cloud, supposed to be coming over the north east later today, and it's still forecast to rain all weekend, I'm getting distinctly less excited by the minute

Not doing TOO well with it all, but did finish off my little patchwork cushion which I made from a little girl's dress I got in a charity shop a while back, I love it!



Busy evening ahead later, got sewing class then have to rush home and bake cakes! Ah I'm such a feminist!

I hadn't heard the volcano has gone up again, I would have thought it is your travel insurance that would cover it not the hotels, because its not their fault.

I'm just wondering whether they'd let us change the dates maybe, as that seems to be Ryanair's policy, so we may be able to just postpone it if we have to. I don't think it's gone up again, but I think the wind's changed and it's blowing it over here. Sigh.

Hey Tete, hope you get your holiday, that stupid volcano is so annoying! I fly 5 weeks on Friday and hoping it doesn't erupt yet again!

Have finally used my walking gear, myself and OH did a 4km walk which was more of a hike as it was mostly uphill - lovely view (and no camera, duh)! Googled the walk and turned out it was a 2-boot walk i.e. harder, rough terrain and some navigational skills required! So chuffed I managed it, even if I did cry like a girl when I got stuck halfway up, ha!

Ah well done Swinstie! Navigational skills too - you're doing well! Yeah some of the shorter walks can be killers, it just depends on the gradient!
