How is it puffy? I'm sure it can be pulled in.

I can't explain, it just seems really puffy! I've stitched the neck and armpit front to the lining and understitched 'as far as possible' like it said in the pattern ... maybe it just needs pressing I'm not sure. It doesn't look like it's going to fit any more now though! Gah!

Sttay calm, it can always be altered. Unless its way too small, then you might be a bit stuck.

I'm hoping that Sally will just look at it and go 'no it's fine, you just need to ...' which she seems to do quite a lot. Are you going toight? Bring your maxi pattern so I can have a nosey please! Erm, the top line of your signature is a bit worrying! hehe!

If you haven't pressed it that tends to make a big difference. Aye I'm going tonight. The cotton maxi dress pattern? I will. I'm also bringing the pattern free instructions for the jersey maxi dress see if Sally can talk me down from the ledge!

Aye isn't it! Basically I don't have a clue whats going on, we've paid for the bridesmaids dresses from somewhere, and the car deposit, and some bits for making centerpieces to see what we like the look of. I dont know where that money came from but it did! Also at the moment I have no idea what kind of house costs we're looking at, or when we're going to complet since herself and her solicitor have gone completely silent. I'm going to put a little time in at the weekend to updating my wedding and house spreadsheets see how things are going. On the plus side our final payment to the regular savers comes out this month, meaning we can now afford the morgage straight out of our wages, and even still have about £300 left for savings every month until we move in.

It was a bit strange leaving flat last night but is so much better in new one. OH managed to put all the furniture together we got delivered yesterday so the bedroom is looking good apart from need to sort all my clothes and things out. Our old flat was furnished so have left that all behind. We had the blow up bed on top of the new bed frame last night and wasn't that bad so think I can survive two weeks till mattress comes!

I seem to have lost the plot a bit moneywise too Dinah - need to sit down and work out who owes who what. Really relying on getting deposit back from old flat to pay for the furniture we have bought. We worked out that OH would be paying most of the rent and I will pay all the bills but we need to sort all that out so need to make sure I don't spend the money before they come in.

I've been spending most of today doing the 'money goes where' game, and I have managed to destroy several spreadsheets - need to ask NIM to make them make sense for me this evening.

Hmm I wonder if you'll be saying that about the mattress in a few days time Wendz! Glad you're enjoying the flat though. I have to say I feel better now that Bluey's gone and I can't see his sad little headlights from the window! :o

I hate it when money's all over the place, I was like that at the beginning of the week, with one account 'owing' another so much and vice-versa, I couldn't rest til I'd been and done some complicated transactions and had it all sorted again in my little head!

Yes me too having a money nightmare :( My boss is abroad so can't pick up this month's half wages and university owe me a whole month's stipend they were supposed to pay me at the beginning of April. If someone doesn't pay up I am in serious overdraft territory in May - despite the fact that I should be sitting pretty.

Oh no Lara, it's one thing when you're bad with your own money but when people are witholding what's rightfully yours it's really stressful! :( Hope you get one or the other, if not both, soon!
