It's funny, the one thing I never do anymore since lightbulb moment is throw away any food at all!
I used to throw away tons of fresh fruit and veg - now I eat it all as I only buy exactly what I need!

Just eaten the mushrooms (early lunch as baby was hungry
), made delicious mushrooms on toast (bit of milk, tiny bit of cornflour, salt, pepper and dash of worcestershire sauce). It was so yummy though that I may now have to go and buy some more mushrooms lol!

I rarely rarely rarely throw anything food-y away, but we used half a pack of spinach the other day, so I popped it in the freezer... took it out last night and defrosted in the fridge - was intending to use it today but it looks a little... dead. Think i'll have to throw it and get a new pack (with vitamins!) today0

Found a jar of tesco apple sauce, that was liquid not sauce any more, about half full so just chucked 17p in the bin - well down the sink and into the recycling!0

The only things i tend to throw now, are bits of fruit or veg that have gone mouldy, and they go straight in the compost!!!!0
