  • It's funny, the one thing I never do anymore since lightbulb moment is throw away any food at all!

I used to throw away tons of fresh fruit and veg - now I eat it all as I only buy exactly what I need!

Just eaten the mushrooms (early lunch as baby was hungry ;)), made delicious mushrooms on toast (bit of milk, tiny bit of cornflour, salt, pepper and dash of worcestershire sauce). It was so yummy though that I may now have to go and buy some more mushrooms lol!

I rarely rarely rarely throw anything food-y away, but we used half a pack of spinach the other day, so I popped it in the freezer... took it out last night and defrosted in the fridge - was intending to use it today but it looks a little... dead. Think i'll have to throw it and get a new pack (with vitamins!) today
  • 2 Slices of crust:beer:
  • Found a jar of tesco apple sauce, that was liquid not sauce any more, about half full so just chucked 17p in the bin - well down the sink and into the recycling!
  • Slices of crust I whizz into bread crumbs, makes quite good sage and onion stuffing!

The only things i tend to throw now, are bits of fruit or veg that have gone mouldy, and they go straight in the compost!!!!

Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.
