Here it is claimed that it has both a HDMI Input and DV Input. That's from the horse's mouth but if you click on the links there's no mention of them in the setting up. Samsung aren't instilling confidence in me!0 -
it also says plays dvd ram is it correct though0

no more stock for 28 days. oh well.Cleaning the house while children are growing is like shovelling snow when it's still snowing!0

Yes no more for at least 28 days. I just tried to order thinking i might be able to at this price and just wait for it but it wouldnt accept my payment. Ive just phoned them up and he said that youre not able to do that i need to wait until they are in stock. That would then mean paying full price but theres no way round it. I asked if the 'Deal of the Day' items have only got a small amount of stock and he said no there was lots and quoted 'about 200'.
I think thats quite good (unlike some stores having just half a dozen of something to get you in there) but considering how many people must view 'Deal of the Day' perhaps they should make it more.0 -
well if you check my thread in argos board the 119 model is supose to record Ram Disks so it will play also, what I dont get is why does tesco show it as Samsung DVDR119exu etc but argos shows it Samsung DVDR119. anyway I have seen the box at argos and currys and can confirm that models I have seen do play divx files and nearly all new players and recorders by samsung do also.

All very incidental now.
Although I placed an order and got confirmation I have just received an E/m telling me that it's out of stock.
Grrrr.
Got very excited for nothing. Good job I didn't order some DVDrws, isn't it.
I am bl@@dy annoyed at this. Especially since Currys just did the self same thing two days ago!
EDIT: Just phoned to complain and it would appear that the email was sent in errror and that the item is on the picking list?
