    Hi,

I would really like to join you all. Housework is my least favourite thing to do, but I really want to be living in a lovely clear de-cluttered space so that is now outweighing my dislike of housework.

I have previously read a little of the original flylady but it seemed to focus on a shiny sink, whereas as your list is great as gives organisation to getting it all done and seeing more progress. This is just what I need as sometimes there is so much to do, that I don't know where to start..... and then get distracted online!

So I'm now looking forward to a pro-active week and maybe feeling a bit more houseproud this time next week.

  • I'm so sorry, I think I forgot to say thank you to Pigpen and Toots and Soappie, so rude of me! :o A big thank you for all your hard work. Pigpen, would you like me to put the list of flyladies in alphabetical order? I'm sure you don't have time to put all those newbies in, and it's just the kind of anal thing I enjoy doing! :D

Brilliant to see the supermarkets are helping with those struggling in Cumbria, so they should. So sad that the policeman lost his life, thinking of his family at this sad time. I've offered my car to a service which does support vehicles if needed, it's not as equipt as some with snorkels etc but functions in water & mud better than normal cars. My friends hubby an ex medic left for Cumbria Friday morning just got home, he's been helping out all weekend, not paid he just upped & went. Lovely man.
    You lovely people :T:T

    Sexy thinking of you

wash windows and any other glass. i know you may think I am crazy but I am swopping this for the oven and hob as i cant be bothered to clean windows as It should be only about a fortnight before I move house!
Clean through the cupboard full of crockery.. throw out any chipped plates/mugs etc
Have been baking today (2 banana loaves and a choc cake) so have had to give the kitchen a good clean after and the bacon and fried egg butties we had for lunch meant that I had to clean my kettle and toaster as them fat went everywhere yuk! Butties were nice though, just the thing after a walk around rufford park.
I have started wrapping my xmas presents and have packed some in a box seeing as I am still not sure which house we will be spending Christmas in yet:mad: My solicitor is ready to go and we are the last in the chain so it's the others further down who are messing about, feels very strange being in limbo and being surrounded by boxes, have decided to pack away non-essentials. Have got rid of lots of carp too so am very pleased.
Have work for next two days so will just post any list updates if I get time. I actually finished more off my list so in theory could have had more stars but friend came round so didnt get on to post:rotfl:
happy flying tomorrow ladies better go to bed!

Oh and Greenbee, do what I've done most of all last week - wear trousers! That way the bandage is only visible when you sit down

But the only shoes I have that fit over the bandage are either my (pink) uggs or catepillar boots... which one do you think would be most suitable in the office :p

The wind is really noisy, and the gate is rattling. It's one of those nights when I'd rather I didn't live on my own :o It doesn't happen often, but tonight is definitely a night for having someone around to reassure you that the house isn't falling down and nobody is trying to get in

Hot water bottle made, kitchen tidy(ish), so just need to clean my teeth and climb into bed with my hot water bottle & a book.

Oh yes... I'm currently reading Bad Science (nearly finished). I think a lot of you would enjoy it... it explains really well how the media and others with agendas of their own manipulate and misrepresent facts, so we really don't know what's right or wrong.

    I'm in, thanks ladies :D

vanilla ((hugs)) if there is such a big issue with bullying the school should be addressing it. It might be worth speaking to some of the other parents, power in numbers (and support) about taking action. I know a school local to me parents took the children out of school in protest insisting the local authority dealt with it & had a plan of action minimum before they returned the children. Hope your hubby has a better week this week. Do you have any contact with these http://www.carersireland.com ? I remember chatting to a family who moved here from Ireland who said they were supportive. Take care honey xx

I'm the sort who say's very little, just keep myself to myself, head down. I know alot of the school are related to each other and have been warned to be careful what i say and who to. I know a few parents objected to DD even going to the school. So i just don't feel comfortable saying anything to other parents plus hubby has abit of history that i know would be throw up. I'm a coward i know but i would hate the thought of someone saying something and our kids hearing it. My hubby hasn't hurt anyone or anything but people love to put you down, it will be all about his drug addition from many years ago.

I think the school is heading for closure soon as a lot of schools were closed here and pupils were moved over. I don't think there is much money going into the school. The children do nothing at dinner time, there's no toys to play with so i think the trouble starts because their bored. Maybe i'm over reacted because it's been a tough couple of weeks and it's all got on top of me. I really don't know what to do!

Sorry i'm moaning again. I seem to do alot of that.:rotfl:
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Re wind: hugs, I can sounds quite eerie and scary can't it.
Shoes: wear what ever fits over the bandage and if anyone looks at you funny just explain that you have a sprained ankle - I'm sure they won't be upset to see you wearing pink uggs! It's not the end of the world to wear slightly different footwear because you have an injury - it's far more important that your ankle recovers instead of prolonging the pain because you want to look good.

    Hugs Vanilla and Sexymouse

I really am going to bed now after a quick wash, night everyone xx
