I'm here - thanks to the usual conspirators.

I've just sold 2 things on ebay so they can be parcelled up now and I'll have to go to the PO at some point.

What is dot to dot method ??:o

AnW's dot to dot method (TM) is a patented strategy for coping with her housework. She believes that if she does a bit here and a bit there, eventually she will see the full picture (a bit like a child's dot to dot picture). We have yet to see the proof of her strategy but I'm sure it will be proved in the end :D

DS and DiL have just gone. It was nice to see them. But my ankle's playing up again. Having rested it a lot this afternoon, the standing up whilst cooking (without strapping it up) has caused it to protest a bit. I shall find some more ice in a moment.

I will do my best to fly this week, injuries permitting - I need to - at least a week of no proper flying and the place is showing it. But I'm slightly hampered because I've managed to lose both the upholstery tool and the crevise tool from my Dyson. I have an nasty feeling both have ended up in the bin somehow. But I did order replacements online on Friday so as soon as they arrive I can get the place uber-clean.

dot2dot is AnW'sMum's patented idea! you pick an area or a hotspot and you totally clear it, gut it, and then you have to keep it clear/clean and then you move on to another one - eventually they all join up like a child's dot2dot picture! its brilliant and it works! beaten to it by Soappie!!!

pink its lovely to have you on board and we will have to watch our Ps and Qs with 2 BGs - only kidding!!

  • I'm in, must try harder this week, I'm sure I can manage two stars if I really put my mind to it. Pleased with what I did last week tho, the place doesn't look too bad!

Have spent the evening watching x-factor and sewing sequins to a knitted flower, hmm, that could have gone better! THey ping off all over the place as you are trying to hold them! Will have to go and pick them all off the carpet later!

Hugs to Boddy’s DD and Helen’s DD

Welcome Pink, We will soon whip you into shape! LOL! Oops, realises you are a board guide and backs away bowing and curtsying – you can have your own list, or follow Pigpen’s – if you do Pigpen’s lists you get stars but remember extras are extra and do not count toward stars

Potty the dot-to-dot method is where AnW’s mum clears an area and then keeps it clean and tidy forever more. She then moves on to another place, and eventually the dots will join and her whole house will be clean and tidy! - sorry Soappie and Toots!

    Welcome back Ashia!

Am going to see a friend tomorrow, need to look up where she actually lives as have never been there before and it's far far away. Hopefully not too complicated a journey.

Well, 5 minutes actually made a difference! I can now see the worktop (DH cooked and left the place a bombsite!). I've put the dishwasher on, put all the cardboard DDs new furniture arrived in by the back door, stuck the dryer on, found a box for in-laws hamper and put the cakes DD made in a cake tin. I've also found my new bank card so i'm going to activate it and then call it a night.

    xx
