    In again this week, not sure how much I will do as there are some extra tasks that I need to work on.

    I'm in and flying at pace to burn calories and clean in tandem as my muffin top has got too much bicarb in it.

    I wonder if Gingham will pop in this week too?

    Pink - welcome, I find it doesn't matter if I use Pigpen's wonderful lists or my own both work. When I struggle is when I don't bother with a list - good luck.

    Ironing all done
    Just putting DW and WM on and then off to bed.

    Kitchen is a must for me tomorrow and if I can get some more of downstairs done then all the better.

    Sexy thinking of you sweetie, I can imagine you at home now a scared mouse but just think of 'her' as that elephant who is afraid of the mouse and you will win my friend xx

    My thoughts exactly :D;):p

    Don't worry pink, Toots will send you a PM and it'll gradually all become clear - mostly we spend our time making excuses for the stuff we haven't done. Some of us are better at flying than others. Try to start with Level 1 this week and gradually increase over the next few weeks. Don't attempt to carry stuff over, or you'll get disheartened. Valli can do her Thursday/Friday blitz as she's been here for a while. Those of us who work full time often get very little done during the week and catch up on what we can at the weekends.

    Where've you been and are you OK???

    Then round town to get Epsom Salts and pan stand....finally got epsom salts from Asda pharmacy of all places...Boots have stopped doing them unless on prescription???
    If these are for baths, then I get mine from Summer Naturals in 1kg packs along with my vinegar. You can get them from garden centres, but it's not the best time of year. Pharmacies are far too expensive for the quantities you need for bathing! If you're doing this, then start of with a teacup full and gradually build up the dose. I now put a lot in, and sleep incredibly well.

    I've finished my cake and left the kitchen relatively tidy, so I'm just going to upload the photo for you (of the cake, not the kitchen :D)

    It's a bit lopsided, but I worked out the stuff I needed to, and if I spent a sensible amount of time on it I should be able to make it look respectable! Now I just have to find something to do with it... I'm not sure that it'll be particularly delicious, as it has taken quite a long time to put together!

    Good Evening, Ladies....

    I'm not going to be able to do more than level 1 or 2 this week: too many extras of my own to do. So I'm going to set down my list for tomorrow, based on Pigpen's, but amended; plus the extras for the week, and try to work my way steadily through this:

    Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining room, adjusted to reflect reality! :rolleyes:
    Level One
    Sweep/vacuum kitchen floor
    Clear and wipe work surfaces
    Level Two
    Wipe units and large appliances
    Check fridge & get rid of anything gross; and slide the stuff that needs using now into your meal plan
    Level Three
    Wipe the table and deweb the beams
    Clean the Aga top; arrange for a service for Aga and c/h boiler

    and also on Monday:
    School run
    Clean loos

    Deal with lamb (Aga willing) - Persian lamb with apricots
    Make lamb stock for Scotch Broth (Aga willing)
    Empty airing cupboard
    Hang up overnight washing
    O/line banking
    Seasonal Flu jab
    DD to cello lesson
    Book -> library
    Stuff to charity shop
    Look for whoopsied items in M&S
    Heat up meal
    Buy DD's Xmas present o/line

    and extras to be fitted in this week:
    * Turkey (etc?) ordered from butcher
    * Pots for patio (turf out old plants)
    * Wyevale for tree guards
    * Guests on Friday - make chilli con carne! Does M need a bed?
    * Book Aga and boiler service & be in for it
    * Thornton's order: coming Friday onwards
    * Collect DH's suit (prob Friday)
    * Christmas shopping morning (in Big Bad City)
    * New bank account
    * Bird seed from village shop
    * Lights for mounting on study
    beams
    * Finish major o/line Christmas shopping
    * Decide on DD's birthday party
    ideas
    * Finish red tulip bulbs
    * Read EON meter
    * Contact handyman for various odd jobs (now have 1 day's work to offer)
    * Write postal Christmas cards (esp USA)
    * Signage
    * Tax return next weekend
    * 'Useful people' log

    Sigh. Ah well. I can dream! :o

    Hugs to all

    The wind has got up again :rolleyes: and by the looks of the weather forecast it's going to be windy for the next few days, so please be careful everyone when going out and about. There was a fallen tree on the road out of the village today (so it's a good thing I didn't get up and out as early as originally planned ;)), and I suspect there will be more tomorrow.

    Off to get my stuff together for tomorrow. No idea what I'll wear... :confused:what looks good with a bandaged ankle :p

    I'm in, thanks ladies :D

    vanilla ((hugs)) if there is such a big issue with bullying the school should be addressing it. It might be worth speaking to some of the other parents, power in numbers (and support) about taking action. I know a school local to me parents took the children out of school in protest insisting the local authority dealt with it & had a plan of action minimum before they returned the children. Hope your hubby has a better week this week. Do you have any contact with these http://www.carersireland.com ? I remember chatting to a family who moved here from Ireland who said they were supportive. Take care honey xx
    Mudbath eeee that's a late one, no wonder you have had a 'nothing' day hehe pleased you had a good night
    sexymouse you're not on your own, just close your eyes, every single one of us is right behind you and those kids. Will be thinking of you x x
    Hugs for you DD Boddy, yours too HelenJ
    greenbee I so wish I could make such pretty things
    Pink how lovely to see you here :)

    With Epsom, SOME pharmacies will order larger amounts cheaper it's worth asking. I do like SN always been able to use my paypal spends which is fab!

    Brilliant to see the supermarkets are helping with those struggling in Cumbria, so they should. So sad that the policeman lost his life, thinking of his family at this sad time. I've offered my car to a service which does support vehicles if needed, it's not as equipt as some with snorkels etc but functions in water & mud better than normal cars. My friends hubby an ex medic left for Cumbria Friday morning just got home, he's been helping out all weekend, not paid he just upped & went. Lovely man.

    Well tomorrow, I can't remember what we have on if anything but I do know DPs phone is broken so we need to deal with getting that sorted....I think we have a spare but it is in the caravan...not helpful. I know I have my piggy flu stabbing this week, DS2 at OT for sensory profile, 2 meetins & a pamper day :D at some point.

    Perfect starting with the kitchen as mines a poo tip still :o but DS2s room is looking much better & he had a gaga fit with DS1 for messing it up earlier so it might stay tidy!
    One day I might be more organised...........:confused:

    Oh and Greenbee, do what I've done most of all last week - wear trousers! That way the bandage is only visible when you sit down
