    Morning All

Well lunches done, breakfasts done and eaten, everyone's dressed and it's almost time to go. I popped out earlier to try and deliver some letters to a few shops - none of them had letter boxes so that was a wasted journey!

    Thinking of you sexy

    Have a good day all

    Hi,

I would really like to join you all. Housework is my least favourite thing to do, but I really want to be living in a lovely clear de-cluttered space so that is now outweighing my dislike of housework.

I have previously read a little of the original flylady but it seemed to focus on a shiny sink, whereas as your list is great as gives organisation to getting it all done and seeing more progress. This is just what I need as sometimes there is so much to do, that I don't know where to start..... and then get distracted online!

So I'm now looking forward to a pro-active week and maybe feeling a bit more houseproud this time next week.

    tc3061

This is a really good thread to help you focus... I have only been here a week, and got loads done last week.
    Tis very good :D

Vaili ...........I need to ask, whats the story with the pegs ?

    Greenbee..... Lovely cake
I too woke about 5 or 6 times last night because of the wind. I hope you managed a few hours

JillD.... I have the whole house to decorate too... I haven't really done much since I moved in 5 years ago  But it really does need doing.
For me, its about having the money and the time, at the same time, if you know what I mean. Anyway... I am going to try and do little bits at a time... and see if I can start to make a dent in it :D
I hope your son's coach can help. It's such a same to not let him go, if he enjoys it soooo much.

Ok, time for me to be up and doing something.
I hope everyone has a good day :D

    Morning lovelies!

    Welcome new people :hello:

Tooch how old is your DD? Littley has a spanish dress (pink polka dot with ruffles) and the shoes to match that she brought back from Salu I'd be happy to lend you it if it's suitable, fit age 9/10

SM thinking of you today xx

I'm posting a list but I'm not really gonna be in properly this week, I'm uber busy at work what with adding some of last weeks customers, then there's Haircut Thursday  oh yes I'm doing it  then school fairs and what not to add to the mayhem, so will probs be doing dailies but would like to do the mopping of the floors this week and of course, master bedroom on that day.

Spent 3 1/2 hrs wrapping pressies yesterday, got littleys pile left to do and then there's oodles more being delivered and bought  but at least I'm organised :A

Teenies lost the Lovefilm disc :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: what do I do about it? I just KNOW once I let them know it'll turn up.

Anyway, list I've deleted what I wont do, left what I might..

What an awful dark morning here.
Kids nearly ready for school so suppose i should shift.:rotfl:

Hope everyone has a good day.

JillD talk to the coach, don't talk to the parents (i made that mistake), let the coach do that. It's awful for a child to be told that. I did the same for a long time and told DD to ignore them which worked for awhile and then got worse. Fingers crossed it's nipped in the bud soon. Big (((Hugs))).
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

I don't know how I'm going to keep up with the housework and this thread but I'll do my best to do both. :D
Keeping up with the thread isn't required... that's for really advanced fliers (or those trying to avoid doing more important stuff ;)) ... oh, and don't let ashia try to fool you into thinking she's new - she's been here before (and her mum's here to keep an eye on her too :p)... it's just her house that's new to the thread.

Go for the pink! I'm lucky, my office shoes have velcro straps so they still fit. Hope you managed to sleep in the end. It was quite rough here last night and I woke up a couple of times to hear the rain lashing on the window.
I'm contemplating it... and trying to put off leaving the house as it's vile outside... which reminds me, I must check the traffic new. Hope you don't get too bored at work - do you have internet access? You could always drop in here to keep an eye on things

I did manage to sleep - and could probably do with a few more hours as I'm shattered. Still, the house is relatively clean and tidy, and apart from the ironing pile and the utility room there are no major hotspots.

Thanks for the comments on the cake - now which of you are going to come round and eat it? I don't need it now I've finished working out how to make bows & ribbons!

Jill - good advice from Pigpen

Sexymouse - hope it all goes OK today. Remember that we're all there with you.

TAG - would your DD be interested in an apprenticeship rather than college, or is it the hairdressing that bores her? If it's the latter, then maybe something else art or fashion related might interest her.

  • :hello:Morning Ladies!

In again this week after a pretty disastrous week last week. Every day I had friends coming round or was out and had a lovely time - no flying... So this week up against it as DD2 and DGD are coming for the weekend. Need to get focused!

Thanks to Pigpen, Toots and Soappie for thread and hard work. I haven't kept up with last week's thread, so hugs for anyone having a tough time.

Weather here pretty awful so no excuse for not getting down to it and mooching about at shops.

    Have a good day everyone
