I think what's making it worse is I'm given a job to do (that'll take say an hour at max, sometimes only 10 minutes) then when I've done it I have to ask for something else to do. I've done as much proactive as I can (tidying up spreadsheets etc. etc.).

The post is supposed to be an indefinite one but I'm not planning to be there much longer after christmas. And things may change because of certain internal post changes that happened this week. I could just walk, but the hours suit me at the moment - it's allowing me to get my book written. I've a self imposed deadline of having the first real draft complete by christmas day

Well done on the deadline with the book - just make sure you keep your brain going at work so it's still functioning when you get home to write!

Can you ask them to give you some slightly longer-term tasks... like maybe a whole day's work in one go, now they know they can trust you? ;)

I'm up, breakfast is nearly finished, dehumidifier emptied, windows open (dehumidifier has been in the utility room, so the rest of the house is full of condensation again ) as I'm home today.

Need to get dressed and so some planning. I have a number of calls booked, want to get some writing done, and some more online training. I'd also like to do some intermittent flying ;). I have a sports massage appointment this afternoon and must remember to get a watch battery at the same time; I also really need to post fedup's parcel (so could walk into the village) AND pick up my dry cleaning, but that's in the opposite direction to everything else . I have a pedicure appointment after my last call this evening.

LadyL - kiss.gif . It is my pleasure to be here for you and I wish I could do more. And we all hate that getting around is so hard for you.
Perhaps we could all come round and 'pimp your ride'.. Spray paint it your favourite metallic colour.. stick on beads and diamantes spelling out Lady Liberty across the back... Attach a row of pegs (all one colour of course!) along the top of the back (to keep all your peg obsessed friends happy) and with it being the season for it, some fairy lights. Of course it would have a large bicycle horn so you can warn people to get out of the way and extra wide arms which open up and inside one are ready mixed G & Ts and emergency bars of chocolate and in the other a very long boxing glove on a spring (a la Tom and Jerry) activated by a large red button of course, so if someone is really annoying you, you can 'help' them out of the way? Oh and underneath the seat one of those blue lights that glows as you move along.giggle.gif

Thunder and lightning for most of the night so hardly got a wink of sleep. Got up early and made a start - have done dailies apart from ironing and vacuuming and some of today's list. Will spend some of today having a good going through of our finances - likely to be depressing, but I don't want any shocks after Xmas!!

Hugs to everyone who needs one and hope the poorlies are feeling better

Carlsberggal and Sunnyzo huge big hugs for both of you, be strong! We are all here for you.

Long day at uni today, tired after football as well, but it was better than I thought it would be (even if they did lose). My bad throat seems to be turning into a cold as well. List isn't looking too bad, even if I haven't managed any stars yet. Will be getting on that this evening.

    Morning all

    Replies first

vanilla - I echo speaking to a CAB advisor or free appt with solicitor. Also agree with DNA test but realise that this is probably something your DH just cant cope with at them moment. Might be worth speaking to his doctor about managing the situation.

carlsberg - hugs my lovely. I havent even gone across to nose at the other thread as I dont want to read any negative comments. Good luck with getting it sorted

valli - great plan from a mad mum but a great incentive for them to do well

quillion - that was a lovely post for ladylib and carlsberg. Hope you enjoyed your beef casserole, thats what we had last night and it was lovely

well done holly - very MSE. I wish I could run a small car but they wont tow our caravan so we have a gas guzzling Saab 95. It is a cracking car loaded with extras and to pick up a second hand one is good as they devalue so quickly. Our car new was £33k and we bought it at 6 years old for £5400 with 40,000 on the clock and every receipts for every penny spent on it including a steam clean of the engine every 6 months , not that its had that since. If looked after they are incredibly good cars to run and with very good NCAP ratings.

Good luck Jill with the SENCO

FFP - hope you have a better day

Love MSD's pimping of Lady libs wheelchair :rotfl:

soappie - understand now, good luck with the deadline

AnW's mum - good luck today, I'm sure it will be fine

wilf - how can you feel ashamed after the hugs lists you usually do

    Ok today

Got up this morning and once again breathless and tight chested etc. I think it must be something to do with having laid down for hours then getting up and getting on and a lowering of the BP (this is what happened last week when it was very low) Not quite sure what to do about it though as I feel ok now. Think I'll get OH to leave his BP monitor at home and then check it every morning when I feel like it. ETA DH home now and agrees with keeping the BP monitor here, so as he was thinking about getting a new one for work anyway looks like I can keep an eye on it. We think its just postural hypotension as it clears after a short time. Right need to bath or shower and get on

Anyway will retrieve my hug list from the depths of the thread and add todays list and will possibly get something done although with OH at home (currently on the school run) Iit moght not be so achievable.

    catch you later
