Back later, love to all xx
See this is why we are here so you can chat and vent your frustrations.
You are much better off being able to get out of the house be it walking , being pushed or being dragged kicking and screaming. Don't class it as a step closer to losing your independance look at it as being a step closer to the togetherness you can share with whoever happens to be pushing you xx
You can have the chair and if you feel like walking you can then use the chair to support you.
You are a fabulous Lady and i am sure there are lots of people who would love the chance to be able to 'push you around' (lol) i know i would help out if i lied closer xx
Hugs hun xx
Carslberggal - I am sure you are a fantastic mum and will be a super Gran. Things are early days and you all have pleanty of time to adjust, in my opinion thats just another reason it takes 40 weeks to give you time to get ready, plan and prepare. Don't worry about the other thread please you will all be fine. Enjoy this and don't let anything or anyone ruin it for you xx:beer: Officially Debt Free Nov 2012 :beer:0 -
Carlsberg - ignore them. You're trying to do your best for your DD, and if they aren't offering helpful advice, then don't bother with it. Take on board the helpful suggestions, as there are some. Although your DD may not be able to take it all on board now, at least you can be prepared. I thought some of the comments about checking re. university funding were very sensible, and possibly not things you'd have thought to look into at this stage. Once your DD has got her head round the situation and is reassured by the way you're supporting her, things may change anyway - she's a very lucky girl. I hope you feel better soon - I'm sure all the stress can't have helped.
As you can see I didn't get to bed early, but I did manage to get some work stuff done, and tick a few boxes on my training plan (I'm trying to keep several weeks ahead of schedule on the basis that once I start being more productive I'll probably forget about it!).
So I'm just making my last hot water bottle and then I'll be off...0
