Sorry ladies, no flying this week as have had a heavy cough and cold since last Friday. Didn't feel ill over the weekend but this week it is getting worse day by day. Will try to catch up a bit tomorrow after work as way behind on the housework front. Plus off on Fri and will try and catch up a bit more then.
Ex has just rung me on his return from holiday to ask why I ignored his text! All the strength I gained while he was away lessened and I just wanted to get off the phone
Plan for the rest of the week to keep busy and out of ex's way

You are entitled to complain and we are happy to listen. You always try to look on the positive side of everything and I admire you greatly for that :A Huge hugs and prayers xx

My mum departed for a Caribbean cruise this morning - right now she should be in Barbados waiting to board the ship! And I'm looking forward to more lovely stormy weather  Oh well!
Am thinking of paying for my dad and I to go to Belfast sometime next year as part of his Christmas / birthday present. He's 75 on Friday and difficult to buy for ........... and flights and hotel looks pretty cheap if I book soon. Hmmm ....."There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers

SW's decluttered to bed following shower/bath and hair wash. Most of the ironing is done, what I could fold straight out of the dryer I did and over half of it has been put away
In the vain hope of trying to be organised I have got the Christmas cards out, I am sure they are breeding! If anyone sees me buying any more in the next 3-5 years please shoot me :rotfl: there are loads! LL I presume you will be emailing people on the list who are participating, how many have you got so far and when will we get the list? Sorry if you have already posted this on FB but I hardly go on there (it baffles me a lot of the time) and I know there are a few others not on there.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -

Thanks Lil me.
I didn't get vast amounts done but - whilst listening to Miss Tag read to me. She's well chuffed cos she's been put on chapter books at school now.......
I unloaded the TD, folded and put away what could be put away.
Sorted out the ironing :o !! Yes, I actually do have, not one, but two baskets of ironing :eek: But, they have been sorted into urgent and non urgent. One of the baskets now holds 30 items which means I can do two loads of 15 things tomorrow:D:D:j:j:j:D:D:D
Oh and I loaded the WM which has just finished so I'll unload that before Spooks starts.
How'd you do lil me?0 -
Where has the day gone - time or a list update!
Diva - I guess the series was Alex Rider. There is a new one just out called Crocodile Tears (Alex Rider) Anthony Horowitz. Another good series which my DS2 has read is the 'Cherub' series by Robert Muchamore
Lil_me hope your DS is not nervous about tomorrow and that he has a wonderful time
TAG - that is great, DS3 was so pleased to be on chapter books too!The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
