The 3.25 hours of meetings I had this afternoon were soooo boring I nearly chewed my own foot off....... I really don't know how much longer I can do this job.....

How long are you supposed to be working there for? You need to develop some strategies for coping with the boredom...

Just got home... need to find some food and then decide what to do for the rest of the evening. Ankle is a bit hot, so I think I need to rest it for a bit. Might go and put the heating on too.

Skip is arriving tomorrow afternoon, so the garage should be gone by the weekend :j:j:j

    Today's list is completed!!!!

Yeah....that's three lists. I need to s/s a bit in the rooms we've already done as nothing stays tidy here but such is life.

Just had a chat with DH who reminded me that the phone I had has actually stopped working twice in the last two weeks so I'd have probably had to replace it quite soon anyway. My dad has offered to get me one for my birthday which is really kind of him and the one I like is only £30 so think I might go for that. Thank goodness I'm not into the designer / all singing all dancing ones (oh yes, that'll be because I can't afford anything like that:rotfl:).

    Right, off to s/s xx

Busy day flying today. Tackled the playstation sofa on the top landing. Didn't find any money but did find a nephew's Tottenham t.shirt that has been missing since September. The older boys wanted to burn it on a stake but I rescued it.

Gearing up for DD1's 18th Birthday party on Sunday then its eyes down for our trip to New York on Wednesday.

Toots Chameleons are usually seasonal breeders for specialist breeds, Yemen you can get most of the year which are green but I really fancy a panther or similar which come in blues, reds etc & tend to have better characters, so we need the tanks ready by about February. Oh & the garage is a godsend! What colour carpet did you pick?

Had a nice day, therapy session inc a little acupuncture & a head massage. Never had either done that way & quite enjoyed it. Felt lovely and relaxed even if it was just for a little while. I've had to cancel a meeting tomorrow, it's about 30 miles away & my arms just too sore to drive that far. It's not like me to cancel so they know it must be bad. I do also want to be on hand incase DS1 has any issues at school, first morning in the mainstream primary tomorrow, I'm pleased & nervous all at the same time!
Going to make sone food, do some more in kitchen while I am there, back later x

lil_me ooooooooooooooh a panther:eek::eek: not the black 4 legged things I hope that might eat children for lunch!!!! I am guessing its another kind of reptile - all of them sound really scary to me! glad you enjoyed your therapy sesions - my arm was sore for a few datys so i hope you feel better soon - what a big day for DS1 tomorrow - i can understand your feelings - is he looking forward to it?
I cant really describe the colour of the carpet - I have to say i am a bit nervous as its not what I intended (didnt really know what i wanted to be honest) its a a sort of coffee/minky colour but not a plain colour IYKWIM its sort of mottled - it will have to do!!!! the walls will be pale green.
mudbath thats a great idea about the phone
Mumto5 I love Bluewater - you lucky thing - and NEW YORK!!!!!! WOW!!! how long are you away for?
kazw what great excitement for your SiL - hope your nephew has had a good time - was that the one you watched running in a race live on the net?

ok Mother has now phoned so i can go present hunting behind the sofa

    back later
    toots xx
    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder
Live each day as if its your last
