Yeah, I've been charged for both versions of the Simply-Fone access numbers for calling overseas - the 07744974333 and 07744974404. T Mobile will not refund any charges as they say they know these calls are to make overseas calls.

I managed to get a refund from t-mobile, just through email. Only £10 or so but better than nowt! Worth perservering..

It doesnt matter what 07744 number you ring T-Mob will charge you for calls to any 07744 number.In fairness to Simply-Fone there is a warning on their site now,telling you T-Mob are now charging.

Is it ok to call using o2 at the moment ? and how about Vodafones Stop the clock ? how is that affected by this ?

Just tried the "inclusive minutes number" for a call to Rumania. Worked to a land line but could not get through to the mobile. Got through to mobile using normal dialing number.

Any advice from anyone. :rolleyes:

O2 contract,s still allow access to 07744 numbers at the moment.

Vodafone will charge you to ring it.You can still call 07744 on stop the clock.

I'm assuming you're using Simply Fone? If so their website doesn't list Romania mobile calls as supported which is why it's not working for you.

There may be other 07744 providers that might allow you to call these numbers. Some of them are mentioned on this thread. I've just found that YourCall allows it:

at the following times:
