Anyone have any insight on why Orange are no longer charging for "inclusive-minute" calls to 07744 numbers?
Pressure from Ofcom?
Large number of complaints?
Increasing customer base in the run-up to Christmas?
A system error!?
I wonder how long this will last before they decide to start charging again. And lets hope that they put the warning message in place as soon as they start charging, otherwise we're going to get a fiasco all over again with people trying to get refunds for charged calls.

I have phoned orange and they claim they are charging customer who use this number 07744 and will not be part of your inclusive minutes.
I am on orange premier family 600. I get 900 mins anywhere anytime + 3000 mins weekend call this is also anywhere anytime.
So who is telling the truth Orange or Yourcall.
I would love to spend my crossnet minutes calling international, but at this moment of time I am still doubtful if the 07744 will be part of my inclusive minutes. Can anyone clarify this for me.0 -
It's better if people don't keep asking Orange about it, it was quite possibly one of the reasons they started charging for the service the first time round. I'm getting a massive sense of deja vu here
shahinali112, why don't you make a 2 minute call to an 07744 number, and check your inclusive minutes before and after. If it's reduced by 2 minutes, then you'll know. Obviously don't use the phone for a while before and after, so that the reading is accurate.0 -

This only came into force yesterday so perhaps C S advisor is not up to date.
Suggest that to make absolutely sure you make a very short call to a 07744 number.https://www.simply-fone.co.uk are normally the best if they cover your destination. Then in about an hours time ring Orange CS and see if it came out of your inclusive minutes.Another member did this and it came out of his inclusive minutes.Good luck.
Note.I have since seen Charlie12 posting i agree it is best after you check that everybody else does not keep asking them.Or users could end up shooting themselves in the foot!!! Let us know how you get on if you do check.PF.0 -
problem with checking orange inc. mins is that they do not go down straight away,
they usually check them and update them at silly times in the middle of the night.
so you cannot check straight away or even an hour or so later.Nice to save.0 -
True but with the potential savings possible with this access number it is well worth waiting.0

Thats odd because I rang Orange customer service up today at around 14:30 (I am on exactly the same tariff as you) and I asked if calls are incl in my free mins and he told me yes, I told him the yourcall AND the simply phone numbers and said they were standard mobile numbers so it would come in my incl minutes.0 -
As pricefighter said it's likely that not all CSRs have been briefed on it yet.0

Mon - Fri
8am - 6pm
rite, thanks for the info m8 :beer:0 -
i'm also ONLY using simplyfone 07744 97 4404 because theyre the only ones who are honest on their websiter & with their returned emails [when u send them a query]
I think its dishonest for websites competing with SF to say u can make free calls & then imply from ALL providors..
anyway gr8 news that Orange permit it once more. Whats bet that they'll get lotsa new contracts/clients..
