it does come out of 02 minutes for sure..
BUT -- i tried also the mobileminutes 0744 & it was NO way as good in quality as the s-f number 07744 974 363. It seems the 'Inernational bit' of the call is done by actual company i.e. mobuile mins or simply-fon... & the simplyfone appatrently use BT to take the International call whereas the 18866 lot use cheap carriers etc.. & quality worse0 -

I'm with Btmobile and don't know for sure which network it runs on as I've heard O2, Tmobile & vodafone from this thread alone but would like to know if they can allow bills to be checked online. It is such a pain having to call cs in India every time I need to check on my inclusive minutes.
I've just done a short test call and will be checking on it in a few days time but even if it is not charged I am worried that they might decide to introduce a charge without warning by which time I could have racked up a huge bill. If it isn't already then it should be made law that any changes to call plans should be advertised clearly.0 -
Not very pleased with T-Mobile, I too went with them as the Simply-fone deal was great for me.catch220

( i posted this earlier somewhere - forgot where!!)
i read on this site somewhere that orange were going to permit these 07744 974 363 calls from simplyphone again in there crossnetwork minutes from 16/09.
I Pray this is true as I used to use them from my orange &now i'm wasting my minutes month by month & this was a gr8 way to use them up & save money
c'mon orange be nice to us!
actually i was going to move from orange at end of month BUT if 07744974363 is accepted again - ill def stay for further year.0 -
whoops - apologies
i just saw my same post further down the page! thought i'd put in on different 'site!
i'm going senile in my old age0 -
Just had this reply from T-Mobile:Thanks for your email about being charged to dial 07744974363.
The number you're calling is classed as a personal number. You can purchase these numbers at Carphone Warehouse and they're linked to your standard mobile number.
Our systems can now recognise these numbers and have started to charge accordingly.
They aren't included in allowances and are charged the same as a call to another UK mobile, which on your price plan is 25p including VAT a minute.
I appreciate you were getting them free previously, however, calls to this number should have been charged all along.
You could ask the person for their mobile number given to them by their network. This should still be a live number as the personal number is just linked to it. If you use their network number then it will be recognised and come out of your free time allowance.
Thanks for taking the time to contact me Adrian and I hope this information helps.
If you have any more questions, please feel free to reply to this email or contact us through our website.
Kind regards

Success! A quick couple of emails and they have refunded me all the charges for calls to that number - around £15 worth...! No complaints there really - just need to find a replacement service now, or it's back to 20p / min with Orange PAYG to France...0

Any news if Orange are allowing calls to 07744 out of your inclusive minutes now? Or was it an Urban MythPF.0
