One thing you could try is to pick something from your stores which could be the main ingredient for a meal and then take a look here:-

    The Complete Cooking Collection

Everything is listed in alphabetial order to make life easy - and, obviously, you'll be using up some of your other stores too.

Once you get to the point where you have only a few items that you haven't got a clue what to do with - well we have a thread for that too...

The "What do I cook with this stuff..." thread

..just pick one or two items and post in the thread.

    Good luck :)

    or
    pearl barley and tomatoe risotto
    or
mushroom quiche with a large salad
I am playing all of the right notes just not necessarily in the right order :D.

see it's scary I'm shocked at how much cheese we have is any of it possible to freeze it.
Yes you can freeze cheese, wrap in greaseproof and then foil (Do not use a plastic bag because it makes cheese sweat.) If you have small odd bits of cheese grate them together and use them as pizza topping or to make a cheese and onion pie.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

I think sweet & sticky sounds so much tastier than sweaty & sticky:rotfl::rotfl:

  • Sounds like you have most of the ingredients for one of my favourite dishes: sausage and bean chilli.

Fry the chopped onion and a few chopped carrots. Brown the sausages in the pan too. Add a selection of spices (plenty of chilli, plus cumin if you have it, garlic, paprika etc.). Add your tin of baked beans, I usually add a tin of mixed beans but you could add your tomato and 3 bean soup. Add some chopped toms and if you have some honey put about a couple of tablespoons in.

Bung it all in the oven for a couple of hours and enjoy - your house will smell delish!
