hi, what about a tea loaf, using raisins instead of sultananas, my family love this and it is filling
soak 8-10 oz sultanas with 4 oz sugar in 1 mug hot strong black tea preferably overnight, if not just a few hours will do.
then add one egg, 8-10 oz sr flour, give it a mix put in a loaf tin, i usually do it on 170 with fan on for approx an hour, test it the usual way for cakes though, really tasty especially cold with butter on and a cup of tea. yum

Wow still loads to use up :)
Why not stuff the peppers with a rice mix (rice, the roasted peppers in a jar and maybe some onions all sweated off in a pan and then add cooked rice and stuff in the peppers, sprinkle with some grated cheddar and stick in the oven) - you could serve with any of the fish I would have thought? (sorry I don't eat fish so I'm not sure what you should serve with fish...)

  • Could you make omelettes or frittata maybe using the eggs, bacon bits, cheese and maybe some of the other veggies you have?

There's a bacon and cheese frittata recipe here if that helps.
