At xmas my hubby always makes a load of extra stuffing and puts it in a loaf tin so that we have a meat loaf as well. I would take sausages out of skins, chop some onions, mushrooms , add some eggs, seasoning and then put in a loaf tin to bake. If it needs bulking up you could add some bread crumbs.

make meatloaf, I fry off 1 chopped onion, and add to the sausage meat and half a packet of stuffing, add water and mix then into the oven I use a loaf tin, with a knob of butter on top, and cook for about 45 mins!

Today i've got them out and im DETERMIND to use them for "something", i've started soaking them which will take most of the day then im thinking of perhaps throwing them into my slowcooker tommorrow but what with? to make what?? i have no idea?

    Hi leiela,

After soaking you'll need to boil them until they're cooked. What about a mixed bean casserole....lots of recipes here

If you want to add some meat you could use whatever you have available but sausages go well with beans.
