That sounds like a nice idea. I'd guess that you'd cook it for about the same sort of time as a Lancashire hot pot?

    :)

Soften marg and fry onion till transparent, add bacon, cook till bacon has lost its red colour, add flour and mix till absorbed, add milk and it makes a lovely bacony flavoured sauce.Add cooked chopped up potato.
Make Pastry and line pie dish, fill with filling, top with pie crust.Cook for about 25 mins on 200c. Serve with any veg.

Sounds yummy - and a good candidate for our recipe collection if you'd be so kind... :)

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Tuna and sweet pepper surprise

some pasta (I used wholewheat twirly stuff that holds the sauce on)
1 or 2 onions chopped fine
    2 cloves of garlic
1 or 2 peppers (red or yellow preferably)
    tin of chopped tomatoes
a big squirt of tomato puree
a tin of tuna or two or nine (Catznine/CQ you listening ;) )
1 veg stock cube made up
a little bit of chopped basil
    sprinkle of sugar
garlic powder/onion powder/mixed herbs/salt/pepper etc. I added in some sweet chlli sauce too, just a little blob or two. Just keep tasting it till you get it to your liking.

Fry up the chopped up onion and crushed garlic in some oil. Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer for half an hour, add in some flour to thicken the sauce. Cook the pasta and then stir it into the sauce.

You could skip the fresh basil and just add in some dried herbs and some sugar instead. I added in a blob or two of Sharwoods sweet chilli sauce that was in the fridge too.

I don't know what to call it. I was looking at the ingredients on a tin of tuna pasta stuff the other day in Tesco made by HP I think or Heinz, can't remember. Just put it together from that. Tuna and (sweet) pepper surprise, tastes different every time you make it as you throw in varying amounts of herbs/sauce etc that you have in the cupboard. The sweet chilli sauce really bought out the flavour, and the sprinkle of sugar.
