Yes mate - RBS Group as a whole search Experian first then they perform an Equifax follow-up only if they are not satisifed with what Experian send back (such as inconsistencies/adverse/links etc)....

Maybe at the time you applied you had baddies (you did used to didn't you?) on Experian so they went to Equifax. But generally, they will always use Experian as their primary provider.

Check with stclair or PM him - i'm sure he'd be happy to help :D

Hey up matey :D:D Yea, seems you're back on the straight and narrow and ignore your fellow sub-primers lol - you user you! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Yea, X-Mas was good, working though! But good money earned and lots of work brought up to date - but other than that, looking forward to tonight! Hogmany (am Scottish remember lol).......

Hope yours was good and have a few tonight mate - get blasted and pay for it with Visa - be a devil ;):D :rotfl:

Ah im still sub-prime untill May 2010 then both of my defaults will have fallen off so I can start applying. Just trying to not apply untill then really now and making do with my Cap1, Vanquis and Flybe.

I have just been really busy for the last few months. New job, finished with the missus, and I moved in that time so busy time for me. 2010 should give me a lot of free time though with a bit of luck :)

Hope you get very merry tonight I will certainly be doing my best. I expect messy times tonight thats for sure.

Its abit confusing with my RBS account. I have a royalties account but they have never reported to any of the credit reference agencies but I have had the same account for most of my life and always upgraded it along the way so that could be why. Its just they have never done any searches on my experian but theres always a search on my equifax when I have applied for something. It must just be me.

RBS do have pre approvals however they still may do an external credit check before they confirm whether they will offer you the facility.

Cheers for that I will get them to check when the branch next phone me up. They usually ask me if im interested in a credit card or loan if I ever speak to them but I was waiting for my 2 defaults to drop off in the next few months before I apply for anything.
