You will find out your credit limit when you get your card and there is interest free on the card for 3- 6 months depending on how much you spend.
I got nothing apart from the following email:
Thank you for applying for the Argos Card.
Your application has been received and is being processed. We need to process it further, so you cannot buy with an Argos Card today. You will hear from us within the next few days.
I did apply out of hours (xmas day) and I have called them, basically said I have to wait for the letter, but it is pending on their system0 -

Patience. They've probably got a backlog of applications made during the holiday period. I'm sure you'll hear soon enough. :cool:We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I applied out of hours on a weekday and got email the following morning telling me that my application was approved.
I think that your application will be okay because I got same message when I applied and sure you hear something next week when everything returns to normal after Christmas.
Good luck0 -

stupid question, but any idea what the 'pending' status means? surely by now (8 days) a credit check has been done, so why would it say pending on their systems?0 -

Pending = Nobody looked at it i'd assume mate! If you applied Xmas day then there has only been a couple of postal days and also only 3 working days...... therefore wait til next week when things start to get back to normal.
You must be the only nutter daft enough to apply for credit on xmas day and expect a fast decision:rotfl:

Exactly lol, something about not even being able to see the decision due to DPA lol, I was thinking, well if you have confirmed my details, then you have access, but she said she can not see it, her system just says pending.....quite annoyed to be honest, was on hold 21 mins being passed from dept to dept :mad:0
