Where are you going in Africa? On Safari?
So are you getting yourself a new iPhone and what network? I know o2 aren't dishing out new contracts for new customers. They're only to existing customers who are transferring or upgrading.
Tanzania, Sumbawanga.
I'll be getting it on Orange monthly £35. :j0 -

Well looks like things are looking up default comes off July 2010. Have had clean credit apart from this no missed late payments nothing but green 0's on everything. And it works people I have had an offer from LTSB CC balance transfers 0% 12 months 2.9% transfer fee phoned them up to transfer balance. And thought things must be looking up phoned Cap One which is sitting doing nothing....£500 limit 34.9% interest said I was leaving and told to look website at their good offers and apply so I did I applied for there Worldmastercard with 19.9% and 1% cashback and got accepted straight off......£5,000 limit. Which I won't useas I want to move into mainstream 0% deals and thought while on a homerun, i'd try elsewhere and got accepted for the yorkshirebank gold )% balance transfer for 16 months and 16.9% apr just waiting for limit.
Also been into Nationwide today where I have a cash account basic account to be asked would I like to upgrade to there current acount with overdraft and debit card.
So what I am trying to say is stick with it credit can improve. So bye bye 43% vanquis......and 34% Cap One. Even 19.9% seems high now how a year changes you perspective. I am so going to be a taking advantage of all I have learnt from this site and sub prime threads I will always consider myself a sub primer.........even as I tart about my 0% cards.[/QUOTET
That seemed a bit quick closing one capital one card than being accepted straight away for another..0 -

Hiya did not cancel the Cap One according to the woman on the phone she said look on the website and see what offer I think fits me and apply then they would accept or not and before new card/account sent out then I would have to cancel the old one.
On the website it said I had been accepted, so will wait and see what happens if all falls flat I will cancel Capital one 34% anyhow.0 -

Yea agreed - usually Crappy one insist you close the current account, wait a month THEN reapply - isn't that what others have done on here? Or even maybe wait til the old account is totally closed or summat?
