    afternoon all

Whats been happening? I dont get on as much as i would like when am offshore
  • A brief update on CC -

Had Vanquis, Aqua and Cap One for 6-12 months now and suddenly this week all three have increased CL

    Vanquis: 500> 1500
    Aqua: 250 > 500
    Cap One: 200 > 400

Bit stunned as it was in the same period despite only having the Aqua for 6 months and paying either minimum payments or 50% or existing balance each month.

Pleased though as I am moving house and it will be welcome for any emergencies. Not for that new 40" TV though...

As ever this forum is a great help and my credit record is recovering slowly. Still want my default off though it's settled and 3 yrs old. 2012 will be a welcome year.

After a secure message to capital one complaining about the lack of credit limit increase which i swear i only sent either yesterday or this morning i recieved a phonecall on my mobile from them saying that even thou i had gone over the limit (interest of like £3) they were willing to put the limit up as i showed the ability to repay if something like that happened again ( paid £10 on the day it went over to get it back within limit and then £100 the next morning)

All in all am pleased with CAP1

Hi James, well done on the increase.

I have held my Silver Mastercard since March this year, so does that mean I will be able to ask for an increase this month?

    Cheers.

Yes with sygma bank, you get your first credit limit increase at 3 months of account opening and from then every 4 months after that.
My account was opened 23/02/10 and i got my increase on 23/05/10. They do a subsequent/Folow up Enquiry with Equifax.30% increase though. you may have to phone for the increase.
