You can still view your pre-approved overdraft with Halifax, click on overdraft through online banking, enter a stupidly high amount like £6000 and click sumbit, the following appears through my online banking -
When you know what your pre-approval is, re-apply online for overdraft up to that amount.

Edit: Applied for £10k overdraft and got the message:

I'm having the same problem with Capital One, I have a Vanquis with £1500 limit, Nest won't touch me either.
I'd rather have those than a Vanquis card!0 -
i had no problem getting capital one or vanquis and i have 2ccjs i ve run out of things to apply for lol0
