As Cif, NID and Innocent are aware, i successfully applied for a HSBC Advanced account yesterday!!!!! After 5 applications over the past 18 months lol. I went into the branch today and completed the paper work!!

How do the pending transactions work? Do they show Credits for the following day after a particular time?

Pending transactions show items due to be debited/credited the following day.

HSBC updates at 3-4am so if you log in at 4am then the pending transactions will show credits - some debits do not show until later in the morning, but DD's and credits will show from 4am, for the next day.

Also, with HSBC say you see a debit due to come out on Friday but you don't have enough cash, they will allow you to pay cash into the account as technically all credits get added before debits so although usually they could decline the DD they would allow you til 3pm to pay in - if not they would then authorise and make you go o/d or decline the debit.

Its good mate, you'll like :D:D

Just admit to everyone that you were texting us at silly o'clock bragging why not mate? I bet you had a right on 3 way convo LOL.... copy the same text to all of us, on your iPhone eh? :rotfl: :rotfl:

By the way, well done. As I told you last night, wait 6 months before applying for anything as you do not have a behaviour score until month 6 and a day.... i.e. 10th December 2010. ;)

Then apply (in branch) for o/d of £100 and CC - you'll get both! :D
