    I'd keep it for the moment. You've held it for quite a while and lenders like to see stability. You don't have to continue using it, just aslong as it is continuing to report green 0's on your file.

    You can close it once you've got a card that you really want.

    I was in a similar situation and was told to keep an account I've held the longest open because it shows you've managed the account well over the number of years you've had it.
