Have you called to check your pre-approved limit?
I called 0800242424 (prospect line) and they told me then and there.
TBH FD application process is mad, they appear to send everyone the forms, pre-approve most people and then accept decline.
There was suspicion that the credit scored to a second time on return of the forms but it appears this is a lie! I think they credit score you, generate limits, send you the forms, then MANUALLY ACCESS THE APPLICATION USING THE DATA FROM THE FIRST CREDIT SCORE.

BTW fairmon, can you copy and paste the email you got because it appears that this is not a system generated email. The email I got compared to NID varied and was sent by a different person. I wonder if your application is assigned to an individual? So Vanquis have updated their site and added three new card designs too! They are coming up in the world ... still no sign of that card of they year though? Seems a little crazy to launch three new designs and leave off that one?!
