Oh and on the Sygma page...

Important: Credit is subject to: status; telephone contact; confirmation of name and address; not already holding a credit card issued by Vanquis Bank; no reasonable suspicion of fraud, and is only available to UK residents who are at least 18 years of age and are not legally restricted from obtaining credit e.g. because of bankruptcy. Please read the Terms and Conditions for full financial details.

They are, but it's after it's recommended me to Vanquis  Thought it was on about their own application but it's for Vanquis'...werdios, why don't they just let you check Vanquis' terms for yourself, should you wish to take up their "recommendation"!?

And Experian are a bunch of clowns. I thought this new act/bill/law/whatever it was meant that they had to provide you with your £2 report online? Equifax do, Experian have decided they still don't
  • I'm not saying not to apply for a year, i'm saying that will allow things to settle down. Send £2 to each of the below with proof of identity and they will send your most recent file - you need to see what they contain, then we'll be able to advise the worthiness of SARing N Hunter/CIFAS. :D

The addresses of the credit reference agencies are:

    cheers bud
She LEFT me, she LIED, and she made me foot the BILL !
  • I've a question - although not completely relating to sub prime credit cards.:p
If I wanted an overdraft facility and my current bank account won't allow me to have one on my account - can I open an account with BOS/Halifax who would let me? Or would this be another decline and search on my credit file?:eek:
Not really happy with the clydesdale bank - got a dual function card but no overdraft, been with them for 6 years, before that it was the Lloyds TSB who were worse! :D
Just looking for a bit of info and advice.

Off to listen to some Gaga! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
