    Massive if you withdraw it on one of the cards that report the additional detail on their credit report at the time it reports to the CRA's. If it's repaid before they report then nothing to report - internally with the specific card it'll stay on your record with them. If the cash advance is reported to the CRA's they don't report your good intentions to repay it in full within a 2 week period - just the fact your personal financial situation has required you to take a cash advance on a credit card ;)

    thanks for that so basically just DONT bother if in need phone the parents lol

    Make sure your parents will charge you less than a 3% fee and less than 25% APR on the outstanding balance ;)

    Tell them it'll save you a significant amount of money and avoid you having to move back in with them and you might be surprised how eager they are to help you ....

    wouldnt use payday loans anyway, i was just wonderin if u took a cash advance but had it paid back in full within a 2 week period if it would negatively impact you.......

    on an interesting note if u have paypal and set up 2 accounts with 2 different bank accounts and 2 different emails u can effectively give urself cash advances lol (and yes you ARE allowed more than one paypal account)

    i would STRESS i am in no way recommending this merely pointing it out..........

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    It's possible but you'd pay paypal fees, and it takes a while to get from the 2nd paypal account back to your bank account - not worth it if you intend to pay it off within the same statement period. For a longer term "cash advance" it may be worth it, but I looked into the fees for a short term one just so I could save it and it was waaay too high - as I pay off the statement in full every month it worked out as having something like 3 weeks with the cash, if that, which was stupid for what I was going to be charged

    They declined me. Boll*cks!

    Thank you for you application.
    We regret to advise you that after careful consideration , Sygma Bank UK is unable to offer you an account at this time. However, we believe in doing everything we can to help our customers, and would like to introduce you to Vanquis Bank to see if they can offer you an alternative. Vanquis Bank has different acceptance criteria so they may be able to offer you a credit card where we have been unable to.

    I knew they would.

    Thank you for applying for a Flybe Card.
    We will review your application and contact you in writing with a decision within 7-10 working days

    I am shocked that you got declined. I take it that flybe has different scoring to the silvercard.
