Avoid a cash advance when ever possible.
Some card providers report cash advances to the credit refrence agencys and are generally looked on negatively. EG Barclaycard, Capital One. They also cost you more money in intrest and charges.
If you need cash best thing to do is use an overdraft if possible or borrow the money from a family member. only cash advance if you have no alternative.
Hope this helps.
Do not use payday loans. this is a must.0 -

wouldnt use payday loans anyway, i was just wonderin if u took a cash advance but had it paid back in full within a 2 week period if it would negatively impact you.......
on an interesting note if u have paypal and set up 2 accounts with 2 different bank accounts and 2 different emails u can effectively give urself cash advances lol (and yes you ARE allowed more than one paypal account)
i would STRESS i am in no way recommending this merely pointing it out..........

Massive if you withdraw it on one of the cards that report the additional detail on their credit report at the time it reports to the CRA's. If it's repaid before they report then nothing to report - internally with the specific card it'll stay on your record with them. If the cash advance is reported to the CRA's they don't report your good intentions to repay it in full within a 2 week period - just the fact your personal financial situation has required you to take a cash advance on a credit card"A child of five could understand this.
