I got declined for silver card within the last 2-4 wks.
Was wondering if my Notice Of Correction has caused a decline?
Should i remove this NOC from my file?0 -

One can never have enough credit cards. :j
On a serious note, it is becoming a chore having to manage all of these cards. I'd much rather have 1 card with a large limit than 6 with small limits.
Yes i agree, more difficult to manage 5 different cards!! It is always ideal to have a credit card with a good limit and a backup card with a decent limit.
I will now close Nationwide CC.0 -
A NOC can't cause a decline - it means they have to manually review it, they can't decline you *because* you've got one though. What's the NOC about? If it doesn't clarify the situation well enough then they may just decline you based on that - i.e. your file as if the NOC wasn't there - but the fact you've got one won't mean it's a decline, they aren't allowed to do that0

They declined me. Boll*cks!
Thank you for you application.
We regret to advise you that after careful consideration , Sygma Bank UK is unable to offer you an account at this time. However, we believe in doing everything we can to help our customers, and would like to introduce you to Vanquis Bank to see if they can offer you an alternative. Vanquis Bank has different acceptance criteria so they may be able to offer you a credit card where we have been unable to.
I knew they would.0
