Not applied for anything in a about a month, maybe three actually, it was Cap1 just before my holiday in September, and they declined me...but I owe them money that I am paying to a DCA lol

Since that though I have regular payments with JD Williams, Jacamo and Vanquis (although if they take three months to start reporting, I am only on my 2nd statement now)

Only product I have with HBoS is my easycash, which I dont use, and it does not report anyway ;)

I wouldn't apply to Aqua mate. If you have an easycash it is unlikely they will accept you. They may do, but if I were you i'd be waiting (6 months CRA data at least)....

LOL at capital one by the way - you nutter! Not likely they would agree is it haha :D

I actually applied for the Easycash mate, as I had CIFAS, and knew I wouldnt get a standard bank account, and I also wanted the Electron, so I didnt apply for standard and they offered me Easycash, I actaully chose that account :D - what do you think I should do now?

Funny about Cap1, I passed all the things online, you know when you get the green ticks when applying online? Then they declined me.....gimps!

Its up to you but I wouldnt apply, if anything try and get an actual full account from halifax and see how that goes on? But only you can decide what to do, if I were you i'd not be applying.

LOL, those green ticks don't really mean much mate - at the end of the application they credit search you - this is what will have declined you ultimately.... ;)

Problem with this one is, I dont really want a full account with anyone, as I know I wont use it. If I aplly and get it, will they close my Easycash? If I apply and dont get it, will they keep my Easycash open?

In regards to Cap1, I presumed as they have sold it on to DCA, the debt is classed as settled on their systems lol :D

I have just applied for a halifax current account, I got the message below:

Thank you for completing your application for the Current Account. Your application has now been submitted. We will contact you within the next 14 days to confirm that your application has been successful and to inform you of your next steps.

Does this look good or not?
