Oh that's pants, but as you say, 2 out of 3 ain't bad
I presume you had just applied online before you posted? (nosey insomniac, sorry!)
Mind, they seem to be a bit unpredictable with their acceptance, they accepted my friend (one 2 year old default on a joint account, no other adverse) but not her husband (same default AFAIK, and otherwise clean!).
They earn the same and have been employed for same amount of time (self-employed in a partnership for 10+ years) and have lived in their house for exactly the same amount of time (13 years), so they found it rather funny. Well, my friend did, her OH didn't :rotfl:
Wonder if their customer service is any better than it was when I had an Aqua card... was quite abysmal back then. Also curious if they'll have me back so I can build up some more green 0s, I didn't have any problems with them and only settled it because I got a limit increase on my lower-APR-than-Aqua Barclaycard, wish I'd left it open now
'scuse my tired insomniac ramblings, really should try going to bed again, got to be up in 3 1/2 hours
.... wanders off to bed singing Meatloaf.....
Afternoon whisp
I applied yesterday.... boredom and feeling bold cos just got Vanquisdont really need Aqua (got Cap 1, Vanquis, Voda contract SIM and Studio catalogue) just curious to see if I could get 3 outta 3

Applied to sygma silver (already have flybe) and BoS.
Got the silver, no idea as yet on limit or interest rate, declined on affordability for BoS but sent appeal today using N-I-D's template so many thanks for that, will let you know how it goes
I've been looking into the sygma cards...flybe/silver...as according to some threads on here, they seem to have quite a high acceptance rate for less than perfect credit files....however on the flybe website, it does say you have to have a completely clean file....that doesn't seem to match to what a few people have said on here....can anyone give me a clue as to how they seem to work?0 -
got a feeling i might apply for the flybe card tonight.they are both sygma bank royal but dont know if they score differently on both cards..i do know alot of people on here have got a silver card and flybe card....http://www.cardsmart.co.uk/providers/laser-uk/laser-silver-mastercard.html0

I think they only search Equifax for credit history.... so for those who have adverse data registered against their name, it is possible to pass credit checks as long there is no adverse registered on Equifax file. Not all lenders report adverse data to the 3 CRAs, some report to Experian, some both or some to all three.
Anyone care to dispute this?0 -

If you are desperate waiting for something to turn up, it always turn up later than you expected.
You were right it did, it came this morning just as i was leaving for the gym!! :j:j0 -
Just Spoke to Sygma bank, Silver Card in the post, £1000 limit @ 18.9% APR.Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0

The hard sell for PPI (well 3-D Protection as they say) wasn't too bad. They weren't over pushy when activating.0
