everyone keeps running on about this sygma sliver card and flybe card you do realize the flybe card is better because of its higher credit limit, silvers maximum credit limit is only £5000..

oh right because was then looking at the pair of them, and i automaticaly thought silver was better, because being a silver card it is not untill you read both cards then you know..its weird because they are issued from the same bank

Applied to sygma silver (already have flybe) and BoS.

Got the silver, no idea as yet on limit or interest rate, declined on affordability for BoS but sent appeal today using N-I-D's template so many thanks for that, will let you know how it goes

and high credit limit could be the reason a lot of us got into debt and are on sub prime board to start with, some of my husband and my cards in my " old life " wher limits of £10k and £15k

HI everyone , have not been in here for a while. :rotfl:

Almost 2 years now from finishing IVA early and been through the " building your credit rating " for since September 08 and have closed some of the accounts.

A few JD Williams accounts totalling credit of £2800:eek: all closed except 1 with credit of £1000 balance £0

    Aquacard........£450..closed
Vanquis........£2000 balance £0 not got around to closing yet
    Capitalone.....£1500 balance £0
    Silvermastercard...£2000 balance £0
    Ulsterbank.....£1250 balance £200

    Hubby also has

    Silvermastercard ...£2000 balance £0
    Ulsterbank............£1000 balance £0
    Aquacard .............£1250 ..............now closed

so there is life after Vanquis and it is possible to rebuild your credit even though you still have defaults shoing. Our defualts are not due to drop off until May 2011. years from start of our IVA .
