Don't know mate i'm not exactly credit worthy at the mo, seen as my mrs has had a ccj logged against her, I currently have barclaycard gold, flybe, just closed vanquis. Although my credit record is ok i have a high debt to income ratio which i believe is down to having a new car (still owe 9k on it with the BoS would you believe)

doelani you have a couple of good cards there.

and like most started with some cr*p ones, but if it's the way to get started again why not. I see people on here, not particulary this thread, complaining about the cards and the rates they charge. Well if they had read the info rather than just pushing the button to apply they would have known this. So what if Vanquis rate on my card was 59.9% I never used it for more than a few hubdred to show I was using it and paid it off each month. Also why complain about low credit limit's? Mine started at £200 and £450 for Vanquis and Aqua.

For me personally getting credit card was not about going out and buying things it was about rebuilding my credit file, if I want something I save fior it, if an amergency was to arise I have a little savings over the years.

All about forward planning when my mortgage is due to eb renews in November 2011, all the defaults are gone and I will have lloads of payments shoing on credit file for a few years lol At least I will eb able to get a mainstream mortgage next time, I hope lol

Hi all, nice to see that the thread is back to normal now the trolls have gone.

I was wondering wether anyone has had an issue with associate data on their credit report.

I have been helping a family member rebuild their credit and have found that she is associated with herself and was issued by halifax.
She was turned down for a barclaycard initial and barclays sent a letter telling her to check her files and specificly mentioned associate data and was instructed to correct the issue and then told to send a hard copy of the corrected report and they will reassess the application.

    Anyone have any advice?
