I just called Orange to cancel my SIM only deal, signal was tosh on my iPhone 3GS. I am taking my number to T-Mobile to get the HTC Desire - looks like an awesome phone :-)

I think the HTC phones look pretty good in general - I'm sure they'll do great things once they get all the new smartphone technologies ironed out.

By the way, has anyone had the email from Vanquis about voting for the new card designs? Must admit they are all pretty rubbish designs (sorry if anyone on here made one) - I am happy for mine to stay as it is!

I love my iPhone, dont get me wrong, but it NEVER has 3g signal when at work (and thats whan I use it most - as I have wi-fi at home), 9 times outa 1- when I try to use youtube it drops down to GPRS signal (this youtube wont work), it often goes into 'searching...' mode, people are saying they are getting delivert reports for sent messages up to an hour after they send them.....the list is endless!

Sod 3g mate - its not what it's cracked up to be, go into

    - Settings
    - General
    - Network

    Enable 3G - OFF

That gives you a lot more battery life and you find that normal 2G kicks in better at work, i'm in an old lead building and had the same - went back to 2G and get around 2 bars all the time now.....

But iPhone rules - overall it is amazing, the fact you can't do everything is a lot to do with the developers, too much techno in a small place..... it will get better in time..

This is Niddy, you know - 2 months ago said Nokia are the best, pah to iPhone - then got one (when voda started in january) and tell you what mate - it blows any Nokia out the window, in my opinion, and i've had every high end Nokia going from 8600 Luna, 8800, N96, N97 etc etc.... :D:D:D
    :o 2010 - year of the troll :o

Niddy - Over & Out

Trust me, it's no fun not being an iPhone owner - it's like people who do have one are recruiting for a new religion :D

Have you looked at the HTC Desire mate? apart from the built in memory (and lack of ipod functions) it beats the iphone hands down! My iPhone I love, but I have had nothing but signal problems on them! At first I put it down to TMobile, so I went to Orange, and they are equally as bad.

The spec of the Desire is 3.7" AMOLED Screen, 1Ghz processor, 768mb RAM, 5mp camera with flash - its so popular tmobile has launched it as a pre order, first time in their history apparently! :D

    No doubt, but it's a start :)

Not a fan of the iPhone, but the iPad looks pretty nifty. Considering buying one as all I really do with my computer is browse the internet and it looks like a pretty way to do so. Also like the fact that you can stick it in a drawer when you're not using it - as opposed to my current laptop which seems to pretty much live on our kitchen table.
