My iPhone I love, but I have had nothing but signal problems on them! At first I put it down to TMobile, so I went to Orange, and they are equally as bad.
The spec of the Desire is 3.7" AMOLED Screen, 1Ghz processor, 768mb RAM, 5mp camera with flash - its so popular tmobile has launched it as a pre order, first time in their history apparently!
Mate no phone beats iPhone - statistically proven to be the best all round phone ever built and has more subscribers than any other phone and more customers getting one on a daily basis than any other phone.
HTC is made very cheaply, they are plasticy feeling and cheap to make. Yea, the inside is good but that's like buying a Seat and trying to say you have an Audi/VW... (if you're not into cars a seat is a hybrid of VW)
You're talking to Nokia No.1 fan mate - and i've converted. HTC are and always will be a cheap mans smartphone and although their browser and system is classed as a little better, the iPhone will keep going from strength to strength and the way it integrates with popular apps will always make it the market leader.
Sorry dude - enjoy your cheap Taiwanese junk - i'll stick with one of the best "brand names" ever to grace our planet! :rotfl::rotfl:

I'm not trying to incite anything lol - just saying, statistically the iPhone is actually the best all round phone ever built.

I know its a nice phone, no disputing that! I think the one cash-flow mentioned actually beat the iPhone 8-1 in recent side by side comparison.... but i'd rather say to my mates that I have an iPhone, not a cheap imitation HTC (who?) phone... if you see what I mean

lol, me thinks your an apple fan boy :rotfl:, cant see past how they restrict every single thing you do on your handset, how much they charge for the 'homour'. I agree, the iPhone is well made, and is a very good phone, but the problems I have had with them have turned me away from them. why have a 3GS when I get speeds of 34k/s as apposed to 3G which is 300+ k/s or HSDPA (which is supported) and speeds of 7.2mbps? (sorry the figures quoted are just off the top of my head and may be incorrect). I have to wait ages for a web page to load, and even on 3G service, its painfully slow!
I am hoping the iPhone 4G will be better, and if so I may well consider buying one, until then, its HTC for me I am afraid!
By the way, if you think HTC are cheap etc, then check out the Nexus One, its very well built. Oh yeah, also look at the HTC Legend
