As a former iPhone user, I decided I wanted a change and bought the HTC HD2.

In my opinion, I think the HD2 is far better than the iPhone.

My iPhone was thrown in a box and put in to the loft just an hour after playing with my HD2. HTC are an excellent phone manufacturer, and their phones specifications much exceeds the poxy iPhones.

no it,s a htc touch hd

Have to say, the HTC Touch is Windows 6.0/6.5 Operating System if I am right....whereas the majority of HTC phones that come out are Android OS, which is a different kettle of fish if you ask me....Windows OS is pants on a mobile phone...Android is much like the iPhone, very responsive etc :)

The problem with iPhones is that it is tied in to iTunes. It isn't practical having to sync every bloody time you want to add some songs on to the device.

My HD2 has a removable memory card which allows me to transfer any type of file, including word documents, spreadsheets and whatever else. You can store anything on it, not just songs unlike the iPhone.

iPhone may be good at certain things, granted but there's no doubt that the iPhone is behind its time. HTC have created many different phones with a vast range of specifications.. but if you look at Apple, they've only made iPhone, iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS, all with 90% same specification.

Argh! I'm trying to write a CV in OpenOffice and their templates are rotten (very American, not really suited to a UK civil servant)

Think I'll just need to wait 'til Monday and use Word in the office.

Agree with ElkyElky 100%, great point made....also read an article today that states, HTC created the first 3.5" screen device in 2002, so it appears that Apple are following HTC, rather than the other way round (which is why Apple are suing HTC - which is another reason I dislike Apple, because they think they have a right as a big corporation to do what they like)

Also, even though HTC has been around for some time, no one really heard of them until 1, maybe 2 years ago max, and now look, they are competing with Apple!

i have just got the new Nokia x6 16gb, its a pretty good phone to be honest, does just about everything that is required.

with the bonus of a 5 meg camera, downloadable apps, full internet access, office etc etc the list goes on

and the contracts are a fraction of the cost of an Iphone, you can load any type of mp3, mp4 wma etc on it by drag and drop from the pc.

The Iphone is great, but not worth the cost they all charge for it, or the monthly contract cost.

with my old job i had a HTC i found the screen was over sensitive if you get my meaning, i would have the phone to my ear making a call, when i rang off i found i had rang other people, sent text messages and went on the internet all without knowing lol..

I find the iPhone owners annoying (no offence to owners :rotfl:), every owner I've spoken to always says its the best phone in the market. It's so amazing blah blah, even I was pro-Apple and anti-every other manufacturer -- until I bought my HTC.

The specifications for the HD2 is double what the iPhone is. To me, that makes the HD2 the better phone between the two. The facts speak for themselves.

HD2 has multi-tasking, iPhone doesn't. HTC is years ahead of Apple.
