In light of not wanting to have many cards and get myself in poo poo again, I've just closed my Vanquis card :)

Well, I say I've closed it... I asked them to so they've blocked the account and said it will "auto close" when my next statement is produced... I forsee a phone call in April to get them to actually close it; we'll see :o

I was after a Tesco card for the clubcard benefits etc, just done an application and it said I had a £400 limit subject to further checks etc.

Thought so mate - Thus you will be declined / referred mate!

Tesco = RBS still. So you've made 2 app's in a month to the same company that insist on 3 months before reapplying :naughty::naughty:

Need I say more lol :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Well done if you get it. I'm amazed that with AVU I got my Natpest card :rotfl:. Did you put your existing clubcard on the app or not?

Ah cool, I think someone said they are easier to get if you don't, as Tesco want to attract new customers. I put mine in on my last app (and as they've got my spending history they probably think I'm an alcoholic...that's pretty much all I ever buy from there!) so I'm going to leave it out when I apply again.

Oooh I got an alert from Equifax too, telling me my Cap1 limit had been changed :rotfl:
