Just called Jacamo/JD Williams/Fashion World to ask them to stop sending me a rainforest in the post every week!

Sick of the junk mail/email - really starting to annoy me - I have started to recycle all my cardboard etc, and getting these on a daily basis really annoys me, I am starting to hate this company!

I have had clients who are bipolar and it is a fascinating topic - listening to the psychiatrists talk about it is interesting. One of the factors though that interests me (i am in child protection) is the theory that when on a high a sufferer can be reckless with money, feel invincible etc - is this true? I had one client that drove from Cleethorpes to Wakefield with his child in the car when in a manic state (he had come off his meds cos he felt ok) and then assaulted his in-laws. When he takes his lithium he is a different person. Its a troubling condition.

What troubles me is the possibility that all sufferers are labelled the same and I suspect it is a condition that affects each person differently.

I would love to know more cos such knowledge is important.

    You want reckless spending?

My ex used to be on Olanzapine and when he came off it wanted to buy a house with me, got a £7,000 cheque from his father and bought a bloomin house. Admittedly I had my part to play but I should've known better than to trust the decision making ability of someone who's gone from "perfectly happy in a rented flat" to "offer put down on a house and cheque from dad waiting to be cashed" in the space of a fortnight.

Ah well, it was a wild ride being along side that! He's much calmer now, is doing much better with the spending but still has a way to go. Still helping as a friend where ever I can :o

Yes I was a very high spender. It is why I ran up big balances with Next and got 2 defaults. I have learned the error of my ways and have really restrained my spending. I still have urges though.

I was once asked by a CPN if I had urges to fly or if I felt invincible. I said no.

I occasionally have urges to fly. I often dream about flying, too. What is that indicative of?
