I've just had another alert from Equifax about a search, does that mean I'm still on the Electoral Roll then, because if I'd been removed wouldn't the alert have included that?

Edit: Just tried again, as I know when putting in the postcode I sometimes get 2 options to pick from... In house number I left it blank and then in Name I put "00 XXXX XXXX Road" and that seems to have worked and said I wasn't eligible at the moment

Is it too late to appeal Halifax? My printing is finally working. Although with my betting that account is full of transactions lol!! Don't know how much of an impact that would have if I appealed and they had a look at it....

Did you see the pages about Bank of Cyprus? Seems so far there was only me and another that got accepted..... weird eh? And today they are sending me the cheque card... cool :D:D

I've just joined this elite group LOL... :T

I applied for a Bank of Cyprus current account last Tuesday and I received a letter in the post this morning welcoming me and giving me my account number and sort code! It says I should receive my card and PIN number separately within 5 days as well.

I honestly didn't think I would get this account as I applied recently for a Co-Op current account (declined) and one with Halifax (also declined, I already have an Easycash account with them which I will close when the BoC account is all up and running as I'm fed up of people telling me that they won't accept my Electron card - my only reason for trying to get a "normal" current account with "normal" debit card)!

My credit files are also pretty pants TBH, so maybe these guys aren't as strict as the High St banks when it comes to opening current accounts?

    hi seeya

    am well annoyed

I had an appointment with my psych for 3/2 but I couldn't go as I was ill. Rang today for another appointment and was told I couldn't be seen til June! When I pressed her that I needed to see him she found a slot on 21/4. She will also put a message in his pigeon hole that I need to speak to him. He is not back in the office until next Thursday though!

Just sit in the middle of the high street sat down arms around knees rocking back and forwards quetly mumbling "can't move, the tax is too much. Can't move, the tax is too much" and you'll see someone pretty sharpish once the police turn up!

Seriously though you should count your lucky stars you've got a phsych or CPN atall, they've refused me any such thing everywhere I turn despite phsych reports from 10 years ago that make it clear I need the support...

Ah well, life goes on ;)

Hang in there both of you.

It has taken me since 1992 for them to start offering me help, only end of last year beginning of this. I think they thought I was making it up before. I nearly fell off chair last week when my new Psych said she realised I was seriously ill (not right now, but I have episodes of mania, depression and something psychotic). Not really anything to boast about, but after all these years of suffering all I could do was laugh and felt like saying "your telling me!".
  • are you all bipolar?

i recently got diagnosed with it although im not manic, jus hypomanic im on olanzapine got an appointment with the psych on Monday its not really working well i need something stronger or something
