No mate, they are scored the same, they both offer APRs upto 59.9% APR.

The Black Diamond is advertised with a lower "typical" APR because on average people with a higher score apply for it ;)

All Vanquis credit cards offer between 19.9% APR and 59.9% APR depending on the score of the applicant - the Vanquis Bank card targeting people with bad credit is advertised with a higher typical APR because their customers have lower scores than the other brands so fall into higher APR gradings
Ah yea I understand that thanks, I didn't know the main one did offer 59.9%. I might go for the diamond one just because it looks nicer then :p

For people who have Vanquis then, what's the highest APR anyone has, and what's your file like? Don't know if they'd take a chance on me even at 59% because of my 200 & 350 existing cards. Glad Cap1 has gone up though, trying to now balance it so I'm never using (bar big purchases) more than ~75% of each card, that should make my score better? Considering emailing Cap1 to get clarification on the 3 month no-use thing, if it works then I might just ditch that and try for a new one

Oh and my virus scan has finally finished.....No virus. My Spyware scan has also finished....no spyware.... now I'm going to find manual removal instructions to hunt down this virus I've apparently got and see if it's actually there or not............

How do you know you have a virus and what is it called?

Why not log-in to internet banking and see if you have a free virus checker there? Most banks do it now -

see this from MSE: Free Anti-Virus Software: Legally protect your PC for free...

The women on the phone said that a payee had been setup in my account so they banned me from online banking to protect me, as it means I've got the zbot virus (and she gave the 2 alternative names for it). I'm pretty sure I haven't, but better scan etc to make sure!

Haha thanks, was going to google for it myself but football distracted me! Yea well the process named in one of the manual removals isn't running and the files listed that I've looked for aren't there so no idea! Will run Spyware doctor too though, on top of the 2 I've ran - if that doesn't find anything surely it's safe!? lol

I liked it when she suggested I go to a "computer professional" and tell them I've got a virus...she obviously doesn't have access to the course I'm studying on her screen! :rotfl: :p
