Maybe the card is black but without the diamond design as advertised on website?

Yup .. I would think so .. However that makes me wonder how difficult or different the criteria for this one will be compared to the normal vanquis card, as the advertised apr is lower and the starting credit limit is higher !!

    evening
    :)

anyone good with website and setting up shopping cart etc
Hello mate, I run an online ecommerce micro-business, also I work in IT and have extensive knowledge of designing, implementing and setup of Web servers, ecommerce systems etc.
    My recommendation to you is as follows;

    1. Setup a PayPal business account.
    2. Find a Linux based hosting provider, I recommend www.justhostme.co.uk which will cost you circa £25 per annum.
    3. Choose a domain name.
    4. Setup the domain, DNS, Email etc.
    5. Download an open source Ecommerce system like Zen Cart, Prestashop and install this on the web server.
    6. Begin skinning or customizing the shop.
    7. Setup PayPal as your payment gateway using your new PayPal account.
    8. Start adding stock, photos of goods etc to the site.
    9. Test the system end to end by creating dummy orders and using the PayPal sandbox you can create end to end orders without generating real transactions.
    10. Your ready to go.

I can help you if you wish, just let me know.
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

Is anyone else finding Natwest online banking screwed? Stupid thing won't let me login with my saved data, I've done it manually and that's not working either and I've put in loads of crap to try and lock myself out and get a reset and that won't work...so found the reset thing myself and went through that and it's saying I'm an existing user (really!?) so it can't reset it :\. It's always been fine before....

The advertised APR has to denote what atleast 66% of applicants get.

As the Black Diamond card is not specifically targeting those with bad credit, unlike the Vanquis card, using the same scoring techniques it's fair to say the Black Diamond applicants will be granted a lower APR on average than Vanquis applicants, because their score is likely to be higher. It's the market they are selling into with that branding.

The scoring is the same - as you can see in the summary box of the Black Diamond card the APR can be as high as 59.9% and the Limit can start at £250.
    Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

So would I be right in thinking I'd have more chance of getting the Diamond one, as there is a potential to give me 60%, rather than the main Vanquis which is 40% max I believe? So if I was borderline at Vanquis I'd be rejected, whereas at Diamond I'd get offered a small limit on 59.9%?

Oh and I've worked out why Natwest doesn't work, they banned me because someone has tried to setup a payment on my account....they say I shouldn't use my card reader at login as that would be why - but I never have, as I remember seeing the signs saying it a few weeks ago so never would :\. I had to "reactive" my card reader a few days ago, can't remember why but that might be something to do with the virus they say I've got (I'm scanning now and have found nothing so far), but I said that to her and she didn't sound shocked or anything to re-activation must be normal (as I thought, or I wouldn't have done it). They say I can re-register whenever and should check other banks, but Halifax was fine this morning, and if my PC really has got a virus I don't want to go and login to that again now! :p

Well there's only one way to find out if your computer has or hasn't a virus. Scan it! :j
