Ahhh, I was under the impression nobody searched - Halifax never searched me for a basic one
. Or do you mean the unrecorded ones? That would be fine as it won't hit my score........
No mate, only Barclays don't search, but the problem with this is some people end up getting a letter one or two days after their debit card arrives saying "Actually, we don't like you, so your account will be closed in 14 days".
Halifax / BOS Easycash is unrecorded, all the others (Natwest, RBS, Lloyds, CoOp, HSBC, etc) are FULL searches. That's what i meant. How do you know which ones do dispute?

Matey, where do you get the courage to dispute all the searches even those you knew about lol. That is what i call bravery :rotfl:
What if they can prove that you agreed to them, will that not be seen as lying?
I didn't lie.
I stated in the dispute text "I do not recall providing permission for this search to be performed"... ergo, I am not stating "You did this without my permission, eat my disputez" - I'm just saying "I've got a bad memory, are you sure?"
Seems to have done the trick with five of them so far :beer:Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

I dont think they will do that. If they have already, then i am sure they will remove it if you ask them. Try checking your credit reports so you know for sure.0 -
It's Chase Side just up the road from me. Interestingly the large Greek community we have here don't tend to use the Bank of Cyprus much themselves. The reason you tend to get the same woman answering is because a few years back the Bank of Cyprus shut down several of thier local branches (which are all tiny) and relocated to the disused DIY shop on Chase side in Southgate taking thier staff with them.
Hiya
Is this Southgate, i.e. New Southgate (near Arnos Grove tube)...?
I used to live near there, in Whetstone....2010 - year of the troll

And as I'm sure niddy will tell you, Lloyds are really hot on Cifas! LOL
LOL, indeed he will confirm this - cheeky beggars lol (it comes off at end of March)....
Lloyds are that hot, they even responded to my threat of court with fine, bring it on and we'll then see one way or another who is right.
I knew i'd win but the thought of fighting them out of principle (knowing I did have the Halifax one anyway) threw me and I backed down - wimp :mad:2010 - year of the troll

Ah that's a clever move lol. Did you just appeal to EQ ones or Ex as well? Will be something to consider when my searches begin to affect me lol0 -
