* notice the fun thread was removed lol - we don't get told off over there, they just erase the thread (luckily).... :rotfl:
:rotfl:yeah was a good laugh whilst it lasted
Cyprus wrote to me stating "Unfortunately we aren't able to progress with your application" or something similiar - no indication as to why.
Thing is, as they go by the addresses listed on the postcode database so rigidly, I wasn't able to specify my flat number, and being that they searched EQ (w/o flat number) they brought up a null file.
I'm going to SAR CIFAS just in case, you never know with Sygma, given that is the second "we can't continue" with no reference to a CRA that I've had - I had one from Littlewoods similiar, too. "Sorry you don't meet our criteria, however we would like to advise we found no derogatory or negative information on your credit file"... Bet it's SYGMA CIFASing me.
If I have a CIFAS - how long do I need to hold off applications before N Hunter will stop / be less likely to flag up discrepancies? I'll need to wait 13 months from the CIFAS date anyway if there is one...Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

On another note, it seems Be* are not charging me for my service - every month they claim my DD, and my bank refunds it as I cancelled it, but Be* keep marking them as paid - score!0

Change your SOS date you cheat! :rotfl::rotfl:
I'd not go for ulster cos you need to bank with them (Natpest innit) - ask Proliant about them..... but BoI is definitely a wise choice - Equifax search as well (I think!)....
I think I may apply for BOI and then SOS for 6 months? If I remember BOI do not give instant decisions do they?Bank Accounts - Barlcays Premier[/B] - £1000 o/d, HSBC - £200 o/d- First Direct - £500

BOI was EX for me when I applied on Sunday. Not a whisper on my EQ file just a big fat size 12 footprint on EX.
I think Niddy got searched on EQ as he was an existing customer - HSBC do the same with their CC - EQ for existing customers EX for new.Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

It was three years ago when I noticed the difference with HSBC, so could be different now.
It could be the address, but there's not even an unrecorded enquiry agains either format of my address on my EQ file; nothing whatsoever from BOI. Nout.
Suffice it to say, it's a gambleCashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

I assume that HSBC will search experian? I know they did for my account review last year.
I may hold of the BOI for the moment, TBH you are the first i have heard them search EX.
