    Yeah via Equifax;)

Funny thing is they gave my Selfridges account an auto increase of £150.00 last month.

    But I don't use it very much:rotfl:

7-8 months. I was thinking about calling for an increase but another search added to my file will destroy it.

Mate you can only have one credit record live at any one address - how have you got 2? Sorry, didn't pick up this yesterday..... hows does that work? lol

Edit - its referred cos of the address mix up surely? You cannot have 2 addresses or apply for things using a mixture of both or you'll be 'red flagged' at cifas and N Hunter for instant rejection mate....

They aren't two separate addresses - once includes the flat number and one doesn't.

Experian don't differentiate between the two addresses, but Equifax do.

All my history is registered against the address including the flat number, but any creditor who searches my equifax file without the flat number brings up a null file because everything on my EQ file is registered against the address with the flat number. Because Experian don't differentiate, it doesn't matter if I supply the flat number when applying with a creditor that searches EX. Either way it appears on my EX report as a search against the flat number - even when I don't put it on the application.

Now, when I first moved here my Equifax file was showing all my accounts as registered at the address without the flat number but my ER registration at the address with the flat number. After a complaint they fixed this but as side effects of them fixing this my EQ membership shows the address without the flat number as my last address when I check my credit file. Another side effect is that my current address is not linked to any others on my EQ file.

Ergo if I apply for something at my address, with a creditor that searches EQ, but don't include the flat number, I can see the search when I check my EQ file as being on my "Previous" address.

It doesn't get flagged with CIFAS or N Hunter as a) experian consider them to be the same address, b) the flat number is not listed on the post code database.

How many searches do you have on Equifax?
