So what are you messing about at mate? get speaking to a relationship manager and get the mastercard applied for lol..... what kind of limit does BC gold give, if you don't mind saying? :D

haha. trouble is, i dont like to go to a branch. they are always trying to sell me stuff i dont need. everyone of them. i end up taking things i dont need. it really puts me off. i know i should be able to say no lol.

Will book appointment with rel. manager.

Limit was 260 now it's 700. still low for someone who keeps so much in account.

Thanks izools, kind of figured that would be the answer, i have always had a large amount of credit available to me ( i have around £75k in credit lines available now) but i just wondered if its never been a problem before is it likely to change now?

Lol, surely you book appt to see the rel manager then say i'll think about it etc til you get what you want, then you ignore him.....

that limit is disgraceful mate, I thought you'd be on at least £1,000's not £100's! That's shocking....

You tell me about it mate - you tell me about it. It's an insult. well maybe it's because the account is still less than 1 yr old besides it was my first credit card.

still strange that they're happier to give me higher o/d and loan than credit card. slave bank lol.

They have however explained to me that I am more likely to get a higher limit with the MasterCard since I run my account well and have a better credit rating now.

Yes mate you can complain, but what job do you do that doesn't even speak to you and let you appeal? I mean, no offence but i've been in some very serious (security and vetted) jobs and random drug testing is frequent - as you know, i'm a dope smoker but i admit it and as that is all they can find, no probs.

I aint gonna lie to them and legally they cannot refuse me employment as it does not affect my work and is not addictive.

But in your case if it showed up positive as a result of medication this should be used in your defence, just get your GP to confirm in writing if necessary mate.
